Brunei students win at 2016 International Robotic Games

TWO Bruneian students were among the top winners in the recent 2016 International Robotic Games held at the PKP Jakarta Islamic School, Indonesia.
Naila Abduh and Nurul Izzah Al Bantani, from Cahaya Bina Insan School (SCBI), placed third in the competition’s Robotic Maze Solving category.
Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Nawi, the Director of the Curriculum Development Department at the Ministry of Education, lauded the students on their success. “Congratulations to the SCBI students for their recent participation in the international competition, and I hope that they will take part in more competitions in the future,” he said.
Meanwhile, Year 6 student Naila Abduh was delighted to share her competition experiences. “Alhamdulillah, I am thankful to be given the chance to participate in such a competition, as well as a chance to make new friends and exchange new ideas. I hope to be given opportunities to join more competitions in the future,” she said.
