MAZE SOLVING RULE & REGULATION
GAME DESCRIPTION
The objective of this contest is for a robot to follow a black line on a white background, without losing the line, and navigating several 90 degree turns. The robot to complete the course in the shortest period of time while accurately tracking the course line from start to finish wins.
REQUIREMENTS OF PARTICIPANTS
- Participants are still students :
- Elementary School.
- Junior High School.
- Senior High School
- Each team shall comprise of maximum 3 members.
- Each participant is only allowed to register once in maze solving category.
- Maximum dimensions are allowed :
- Long : 20 cm
- Wide : 20 cm
- High : 15 cm
- The maximum weight a robot is 3 kg (include battery).
- One robot (maze solving) should only be used by one team.
- Maximum voltage battery is 13 volt.
- Robot Control type is Autonomous with microcontroller (programming).
- There is no limitation on the sensor anf motor used in the robot.
- No remote control is allowed.
- The robot must use wheel.
- General
- Before entering the race area, the robot will check the battery voltage and dimensions.
- Each participant must use the id card
- Before Race
- Each team must have completed the registration administration.
- Each robot must pass battery voltage and dimension test.
- the participant’s calling time for the race is 30 seconds, if the participant is not present then the participant is declared defeated.
- While Race
- Each team only be represented by 1 person only in the track area during the race.
- Participants must wear socks.
- The robot must be behind the start line before start the race.
- Robots are allowed to start moving when there is a code from the referee (3 2 1 GO!)
- Participants are prohibited to replacing batteries or other parts during the race.
- Robot is declared to finish if the front of the robot has touched the finish line.

- Time is measured from crossing the start line until the robot crosses the finish line. Robot is declared to finish if the front of the robot has touched the finish line.
- Maze Solving for Elementary School
- Participants will be given 3 times trial track and 3 times race.
- Trial Track time of each participant is 2 minutes and Race Time is 3 minutes.
- Assessment in one race is the number of points that can be passed by the robot. If the points are the same as the other team, then the winner is determined by the fastest time the robot can reach that point
- From 3 times the chance of the race, will be taken the best points from each participant.
- The best points from all participants will be universally ranked and will be taken 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners.
- Maze Solving for Junior High School
- Participants will be given 3 times trial track and 3 times race.
- Trial Track time of each participant is 2 minutes and Race Time is 3 minutes.
- Assessment in one race is the number of points that can be passed by the robot. If the points are the same as the other team, then the winner is determined by the fastest time the robot can reach that point
- From 3 times the chance of the race, will be taken the best points from each participant.
- The best points from all participants will be universally ranked and will be taken 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners.
- Maze Solving for Senior High School
- Elimination Round
- Participants will be given 2 times trial track and 2 times race.
- Trial Track time of each participant is 2 minutes and Race Time is 3 minutes.
- Assessment in one race is the number of points that can be passed by the robot. If the points are the same as the other team, then the winner is determined by the fastest time the robot can reach that point.
- From 2 times the chance of the race, will be taken the best points from each participant.
- The best points from all participants will be universally ranked and will be taken 6 participant to play on Final Round .

- There will be a change of position points on the track.
- Setiap peserta akan diberi waktu 10 menit untuk merubah program pada robot. Setiap peserta akan diberi waktu 10 menit untuk trial track (bergantian).
- Participants will be given 2 times for race.
- The maximum time of one race is 3 minutes.

- Trial Track time of each participant is 30 second and Race Time is maksimum 3 minutes.
- Eeach team will play 2 times.
- Assessment of this round is the fastest time a robot can reach the finish line. If the robot can’t touch the finish line, it will measure the distance that can be taken by the robot.
- The final assessment of this round is the accumulation from 2 races.
- Will be taken 2 best teams from each group to play on the knockout round.
- Eeach team will play 2 times (with different start locations).
- Assessment of this round is the fastest time a robot can reach the finish line (Win or Lose).
- If the first and second match is draw, then will be a third game to decide the winner. The winner go to the next round.

Sumo Rc Rule
- OBJECTIVE
- ROBOT SPECIFICATIONS
The size of the robots shall not exceed 20cm (length) x 20cm (width). There is no height restriction and it may take any shape and size once the match begins. The weight shall not exceed 3 kg excluding the radio controlled console used by the robot handler.
2.2 Don’ts in the Design
2.2.1 Do not disturb the opponent’s radio-control by putting a jamming device in the robot.
2.2.2 Robots shall not damage the arena deliberately.
2.2.3 Robots shall not throw liquid or powder or other substances at the opponent.
2.2.4 Robots shall not employ any flammable devices as a weapon.
2.2.5 Robots should not secure itself on the ring surface by using, suction cups, diaphragms, sticky treads, glue or other such devices.
2.2.6 Projectile weapons or saw-blades are prohibited.
2.3 Radio-controlled Frequencies
2.3.1 The radio-controlled frequencies shall only be FM 27 MHz or 2.4 GHz Digital Spectrum Modulation (DSM).
2.3.2 Participants who are using FM 27MHz must be capable of operating in any of its frequency bands. Participants are allowed up to two changes in frequency bands in a game. If the robot failed to proceed after the second band change, it shall be retired from the game.
2.4 Labelling
All robots must be labeled with of their team names on the front of the robot. The minimum font size is Arial 24.
2.5 Clearing of Debris
Fallen items from the robots shall be removed after each match.
- RING SPECIFICATIONS (REFER TO FIGURE 1)
The ring arena is made of a single ½” MDF board and covered by a 3mm black hard rubber sheet. The diameter of the ring is 154cm including the boundary marking.
3.2 Markings
Two red-brown color starting lines (20cm x 2cm) locate at 20cm apart at the centre of the ring. They indicate the starting positions for two competing robots. The boundary of the ring arena is marked in white color. The width is 5cm.
- GAMES RULES
The tournament shall divide the participating teams into groups of maximum 4 robots. A game consists of 3 matches. Each match shall last for 2 minutes. One point shall be given to every match winner. Zero point shall be given to a draw or a loser. If a game ends with no winner, a test of strength by the two robots immediately after the last match will be the decider.
4.2 Match Winner
A robot wins when any part of the opponent robot touches the floor.
4.3 Service Time
Participants will be given one minute of Servicing -Time before the start of their game. A maximum
of two members are allowed to service their robots at a designated area under supervision. Only replacement of identical parts and batteries are allowed during the Servicing-Time.
4.4 Time Out
Each team will only be given one time-out of one minute within a game (of 3 matches). The timeout will apply after the match and only for the requesting team. Changing of battery is not allowed during the time-out.
4.5 Robot Handler
A participant is allowed to handle only one same robot throughout the event. Each robot should only have one same handler. The handler and robot will be identified during registration and caging.
- CAGING
SUMO AUTONOMOUS RULE & REGULATION
- OBJECTIVE

2.2 Restrictions on robot Design
2.2.1 The robot must not have a device that interferes with the sensor operation of its opponent. e.g. Jammer, strobe light, laser & etc.
2.2.2 Robots shall not damage the arena deliberately.
2.2.3 Robots shall not throw liquid or powder or other substances at the opponent.
2.2.4 Robots shall not employ any flammable devices as a weapon.
2.2.5 Robots should not secure itself on the ring surface by using, suction cups, diaphragms, sticky treads, glue or other such devices.
2.2.6 Projectile weapons or saw-blades are prohibited.
2.3 Robot Control
The robot shall be autonomous. No external form of control or any external intervention is allowed. The Robot is to be started with a single Toggle-type switch.
2.4 Labelling

Peraturan Maze Solving (Update 23 Februari 2016)
Tujuan
Untuk merancang dan memprogram sebuah robot yang dapat melewati maze berupa kombinasi garis yang telah disediakan oleh panitia.
KetentuanPeserta :
1. Peserta kategori junior merupakan siswa SD dan SMP atau sederajat.
2. Peserta kategori senior merupakan siswa SMA atau sederajat.
3. Setiap tim terdiri dari maksimal 3 orang dan 1 orang official.
4. Peserta maksimal usia 19 tahun atau masih terdaftar pada sekolah atau lembaga tertentu.
SpesifikasiRobot :
1. Ukuran max panjang 30 cm, lebar 30 cm, tinggi 30 cm.
2. Berat max 5 kg.
3. Tegangan maksimum pada robot 12 V.
4. Jumlah baterai yang digunakan pada robot berjumlah maksimal 8 buah atau 1 set pada robot. Baterai cadangan maksimal berjumlah sama dengan 1 set baterai yang digunakan robot.
5. Peserta diperbolehkan untuk membawa perkakas ke meja pemrograman.
6. Spare part hanya boleh berjumlah maksimal 1 untuk setiap komponen.
7. Jumlah sensor yang digunakan pada robot tidak ditentukan.
Peraturan Lomba :
1. Setiap peserta memprogram robot mereka sesuai dengan rute yang diberikan oleh panitia.
2. Pengundian urutan perlombaan akan dilakukan pada saat sesi pemrograman pertama.
3. Peserta diberikan waktu 90 menit untuk memprogram pada sesi pertama dan diizinkan untuk melakukan free trial. Saat melakukan free trial, peserta wajib mengantri dengan tertib.
4. Setelah melakukan pemrograman, robot akan melalui pengecekan dimensi serta tegangan.
5. Setelah waktu pemrograman dan pengecekan robot selesai, sesi pertama perlombaan berdasarkan kategori perlombaan akan dilakukan dengan pemanggilan sesuai dengan urutan pengundian.
6. Setelah sesi pertama selesai, peserta akan diberikan 30 menit untuk memprogram robot mereka, tetapi tidak diperbolehkan untuk melakukan free trial.
7. Sebelum kelompok terakhir menyelesaikan sesi pertama, peserta tidak diperbolehkan untuk memprogram ulang robot mereka.
8. Setelah peserta memprogram ulang, sesi kedua akan dimulai dengan prosedur yang sama seperti sesi pertama.
9. Peserta tidak diperbolehkan untuk membahas tentang program atau mengganggu peserta lain saat perlombaan.
10. Peserta tidak diperbolehkan untuk berkomunikasi dengan peserta lain atau pembina saat pertandingan sedang berlangsung.
11. Peserta tidak diperkenankan membawa alat komunikasi, dan media penyimpanan dalam bentuk apapun kedalam arena lomba.
12. Peserta yang diketahui melakukan kecurangan akan didiskualifikasi.
13. Peserta diperbolehkan membawa kabel roll sendiri.
14. Keputusan juri tidak dapat diganggu gugat.
SistemPertandingan :
1. Robot harus dapat beroperasi dengan hanya menekan satu tombol.
2. Trial dimulai setelah juri memberikan aba-aba.
3. Robot yang sudah ditempatkan di arena tidak boleh disentuh oleh para peserta, kecuali telah diizinkan oleh juri.
4. Robot akan dinyatakan selesai jika telah melewati garis finish dan berhenti selama 3 detik.
5. Robot harus menyelesaikan rute dalam waktu kurang dari 300 detik.
6. Jika robot belum selesai sampai waktu yang diberikan, waktu akan dicatat sebagai waktu maksimal yaitu 300 detik dan berdasarkan check point yang dicapai.
7. Robot akan diberikan re-try sampai 300 detik. Jika melakukan re-try, maka checkpoint akan direset.
8. Tidak diperkenankan untuk melakukan re-try jika waktu 300 detik telah berlalu.
9. Jika badan robot keluar dari garis maka dianggap gagal.
10. Tidak diizinkan untuk membawa spare part cadangan ke dalam area pertandingan.
11. Pemenang ditentukan dengan:
a. Menjumlahkan poin dan waktu sesi 1 dan sesi 2
b. Jika poinnya sama, maka dihitung waktu tercepat.
12. Keputusan juri tidak dapat diganggu gugat.
Peraturan Creative Robot (Update 23 Februari 2016)
1. Tema
Robot untuk kehidupan. Robot yang bisa menjadi pekerja bagi manusia secara positif. Para peserta dituntut untuk mengeluarkan ide-ide kreatifnya untuk membuat robot yang bisa membantu pekerjaan manusia.
2. Tujuan
· Perlombaan Robotik ini merupakan sebuah ajang lomba robot kreatif yang diadakan dengan tujuan mengembangkan ide-ide baru dalam ilmu robotika di Indonesia.
· Pada lomba ini para peserta melewati beberapa tahap yang terdiri dari mendesain, merakit dan
· Mempresentasikan robot yang telah dibuat sebelumnya.
3. Ketentuan Peserta
· Peserta merupakan siswa SD, SMP, SMA, dan yang sederajat.
· Setiap tim terdiri dari maksimal 3 orang dan 1 orang official (pendamping).
· Peserta maksimal usia 19 tahun atau masih terdaftar pada sekolah atau lembaga tertentu.
4. Spesifikasi Robot
· Ukuran max panjang 100 cm, lebar 100 cm, tinggi 100 cm.
· Berat maksimal 7 kg.
· Tegangan maksimum pada robot 12 V.
· Peserta membawa perkakas masing masing.
5. Peraturan Lomba
· Dalam merancang robot setiap tim diberikan 1 jam untuk merancang sebuah gambar robot dari sebuah permasalahan yang diberikan oleh juri.
Penilaian:
a. Hubungan antara tema dan robot yang dirancang.
b. Rincian menjelaskan fungsi robot.
c. Kejelasan gambar.
· Dalam perakitan robot, setiap tim diberikan kurang lebih 1 jam untuk merakit robot yang akan di lombakan mulai dari awal.
Penilaian:
a. Keaslian Ide.
b. Proses padaperakitan robot.
c. Kecepatan, akurasi, dan kebersihan ketika merakit robot.
6. Presentasi Robot
Setiap tim diberikan waktu maksimal 15 menit untuk mempresentasikan robot yang telah mereka rakit (10 menit presentasi 5 menit Tanya jawab dll)
Penilaian:
a. Akurasi dari presentasi.
b. Pemahaman tentang robot yang telah dirakit.
c. Konsep robot.
d. Manfaat penggunaan robot.
e. Menjelaskan bagaimana kerja robot.
f. Keputusan juri tidak dapat diganggu gugat.
Peraturan Robot Sumo RC (Update 1 Maret 2016)
Deskripsi
Peserta diharuskan untuk membangun sebuah mobile robot yang mampu mendorong lawannya dari lingkaran arena yang telah ditentukan dalam aturan kompetisi. Operator harus mengendalikan robot mereka melalui sebuah radio control (RC).
Syarat dan ketentuan
1. Peserta Sumo Robot 3 kg (Senior) adalah siswa SD, SMP, dan SMA
2. Satu team terdiri dari 3 orang
3. Kuota maksimum adalah 24 team
SPESIFIKASI ROBOT
Berat robot maksimal 3 kg.
Berat tidak melebihi 3 kg tidak termasuk konsol radio kontrol yang digunakan oleh operator.
Tegangan Maksimal 12 Volt
Ukuran robot tidak melebihi 30 cm x 30 cm saat kondisi diam/ posisi awal. Tidak ada batasan tinggi dan robot dibolehkan mengalami perubahan bentuk dan ukuran setelah pertandingan dimulai.
1. Larangan dalam desain
a. Tidak diperbolehkan mengganggu radio kontrol lawan dengan sengaja menempatkan perangkat jamming pada robot.
b. Robot tidak diperbolehkan dengan sengaja merusak arena.
c. Robot tidak diperbolehkan membuang cairan/bubuk/bahan lainnya ke robot lawan.
d. Robot tidak diperbolehkan menggunakan perangkat yang mudah terbakar sebagai senjata.
e. Robot tidak boleh mencengkeram permukaan arena dengan menggunakan diafragma, suction cups, sticky treads , lem atau perangkat lain sejenisnya.
f. Proyektil senjata/ gergaji/ pisau dilarang .
2. Frekuensi Radio Control (RC)
a. Frekuensi radio control tersebut dapat menggunakan FM 27 MHz, atau 2.4 GHz Digital Spectrum Modulation ( DSM ) atau bluetooth.
b. Peserta yang menggunakan 27 MHz FM harus mampu beroperasi di salah satu band frekuensinya. Peserta diperbolehkan mengganti sampai dua kali perubahan band frekuensinya dalam sebuah pertandingan. Jika robot gagal untuk melanjutkan setelah dilakukan perubahan band frekuensi 2 kali, maka robot harus keluar/gugur dari permainan.
3. Pelabelan
a. Semua robot harus diberi label dengan nama tim mereka di bagian depan robot dengan cara diketik menggunakan font arial minimum ukuran 24.
b. Semua robot harus diberi label / sticker dengan tema batik.
4. Pembersihan dari pecahan robot
Item/ spare part yang jatuh dari robot harus dibersihkan dari arena setelah selesai pertandingan.
Spesifikasi ring arena
1. Dimensi dan Material
Ring arena terbuat dari papan multiplex/triplek tebal 20 mm dengan cat putih.
Diameter luar ring arena adalah 154 cm.
2. Penandaan
Terdapat dua buah garis berwarna hitam (20 cm x 2 cm) di tengah ring arena dengan jarak antar garis 20cm. Garis tersebut menunjukkan posisi awal/start robot.
ATURAN PERTANDINGAN
1. Sistem Pertandingan
Sistem pertandingan berupa turnamen dengan membagi tim peserta ke dalam kelompok/ grup maksimal 4 robot. Satu babak terdiri dari 3 pertandingan. Setiap pertandingan akan berlangsung selama 2 menit. Satu poin diberikan untuk setiap pemenang pertandingan dan nilai nol diberikan untuk yang kalah/ draw. Jika permainan berakhir dengan tanpa pemenang, tes kekuatan oleh dua robot dilakukan di akhir pertandingan sebagai penentu pemenang babak tersebut.
2. Pemenang Pertandingan
Sebuah robot menang ketika terdapat sebagian atau seluruh robot dari robot lawan yang meninggalkan area.
3. Waktu Persiapan
Peserta akan diberikan waktu persiapan selama 1 menit sebelum memulai pertandingan. Maksimal dua anggota tim yang diperbolehkan untuk melakukan persiapan robot di area pertandingan di bawah pengawasan juri. Perbaikan atau penggantian spare part hanya dibolehkan untuk spare part yang identik/sama dan baterai.
4. Time Out
Setiap tim hanya akan diberikan waktu Time Out satu kali (1 menit) selama pertandingan satu babak (3 kali pertandingan).Time-out akan berlaku setelah pertandingan dan hanya untuk tim meminta. Perubahan/ penggantian baterai tidak diizinkan selama time-out.
5. Robot Handler/ Operator
Seorang peserta diperbolehkan untuk menangani hanya satu robot yang sama selama acara berlangsung pada setiap kategori. Handler dan robot akan diidentifikasi selama pendaftaran dan Karantina .
6. Karantina/ Caging
Sebelum dimulai pertandingan, robot harus diperiksa dan dikarantina setidaknya 1 jam sebelum pertandingan dimulai.
