MAZE SOLVING RULE & REGULATION


GAME  DESCRIPTION
The objective of this contest is for a robot to follow a black line on a white background, without losing the line, and navigating several 90 degree turns. The robot to complete the course in the shortest period of time while accurately tracking the course line from start to finish wins.
REQUIREMENTS OF PARTICIPANTS
  1. Participants are still students :
    1. Elementary School.
    2. Junior High School.
    3. Senior High School
  2. Each team shall comprise of maximum 3 members.
  3. Each participant is only allowed to register once in maze solving category.
REQUIREMENT FOR ROBOTS
  1. Maximum dimensions are allowed :
    1. Long : 20 cm
    2. Wide : 20 cm
    3. High : 15 cm
  2. The maximum weight a robot is 3 kg (include battery).
  3. One robot (maze solving) should only be used by one team.
  4. Maximum voltage battery is 13 volt.
  5. Robot Control type is Autonomous with microcontroller (programming).
  6. There is no limitation on the sensor anf motor used in the robot.
  7. No remote control is allowed.
  8. The robot must use wheel.
RULE & REGULATION
  1. General
    1. Before entering the race area, the robot will check the battery voltage and dimensions.
    2. Each participant must use the id card
  2. Before Race
    1. Each team must have completed the registration administration.
    2. Each robot must pass battery voltage and dimension test.
    3. the participant’s calling time for the race is 30 seconds, if the participant is not present then the participant is declared defeated.
  3. While Race
    1. Each team only be represented by 1 person only in the track area during the race.
    2. Participants must wear socks.
    3. The robot must be behind the start line before start the race.
    4. Robots are allowed to start moving when there is a code from the referee (3 2 1 GO!)
    5. Participants are prohibited to replacing batteries or other parts during the race.
    6. Robot is declared to finish if the front of the robot has touched the finish line.
GAME PLAY
  1. General
    1. Time is measured from crossing the start line until the robot crosses the finish line. Robot is declared to finish if the front of the robot has touched the finish line.

  1. Maze Solving for Elementary School
    1. Participants will be given 3 times trial track and 3 times race.
    2. Trial Track time of each participant is 2 minutes and Race Time is 3 minutes.
    3. Assessment in one race is the number of points that can be passed by the robot. If the points are the same as the other team, then the winner is determined by the fastest time the robot can reach that point
    4. From 3 times the chance of the race, will be taken the best points from each participant.
    5. The best points from all participants will be universally ranked and will be taken 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners.


  1. Maze Solving for Junior High School
    1. Participants will be given 3 times trial track and 3 times race.
    2. Trial Track time of each participant is 2 minutes and Race Time is 3 minutes.
    3. Assessment in one race is the number of points that can be passed by the robot. If the points are the same as the other team, then the winner is determined by the fastest time the robot can reach that point
    4. From 3 times the chance of the race, will be taken the best points from each participant.
    5. The best points from all participants will be universally ranked and will be taken 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners.

  1. Maze Solving for Senior High School
    1. Elimination Round
      • Participants will be given 2 times trial track and 2 times race.
      • Trial Track time of each participant is 2 minutes and Race Time is 3 minutes.
      • Assessment in one race is the number of points that can be passed by the robot. If the points are the same as the other team, then the winner is determined by the fastest time the robot can reach that point.
      • From 2 times the chance of the race, will be taken the best points from each participant.
      • The best points from all participants will be universally ranked and will be taken 6 participant to play on Final Round .

  1. Final Round
    • There will be a change of position points on the track.
    • Setiap peserta akan diberi waktu 10 menit untuk merubah program pada robot. Setiap peserta akan diberi waktu 10 menit untuk trial track (bergantian).
    • Participants will be given 2 times for race.
    • The maximum time of one race is 3 minutes.

    • From 2 times the chance of the race, will be taken the best points from each participant.

DETAIL TRACK
  1. Track for Elementary School
  • There will be 10 pieces of points (will be announced on the day of the race).
  • There is no point change.

  • Track will be uploaded (corel file) on the website 2 weeks before the race.
